Membership of Transport Action Ontario is open to everyone who subscribes to our vision of an accessible, affordable and sustainable rail-based public transportation network that enhances the quality of life for all. With your support, Transport Action regularly meets with governments and transportation providers, publishes research about new transportation projects, and makes the news on issues such as urban transit, intercity passenger rail and bus, freight rail, rail safety and reducing pollution.
Transport Action depends on memberships and small donations from people like you. Membership is automatic with a donation of at least $30 per year, $10 for students and young members (25 or under).
Completing the online membership form is the fastest way to join. Once your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email and be instantly registered as a Transport Action Ontario and Transport Action Canada member.
Email or phone us and we will send you a Transport Action Ontario brochure and membership form by post or email, per your instructions.
Our members include passengers, transit users, municipal, provincial and federal agencies and departments, labour unions, companies and interest groups.
Membership imparts voting rights in meetings of Transport Action Ontario and participation rights on committees or on the Board of Directors. Members receive subscriptions to our newsletters and also receive periodic email messages on topics of interest.
