Donations to support our advocacy work can be made to Transport Action Canada, a registered charity, and are eligible for a Canadian charitable tax receipt. Funds donated are used for program work across Canada, including Ontario.
If you wish to specify that your donation should be for work on Ontario projects, you can contribute to Transport Action Canada’s J. F. McCullum Ontario Research Fund, which is directed to Ontario research and education on sustainable transportation. Donations to the McCullum Fund are eligible for a Canadian charitable tax receipt.
Donations can also be made to Transport Action Ontario for general purposes. Transport Action Ontario is not a registered charity, so cannot issue tax receipts. General purpose donations are most welcome and will be used to defray administrative costs, such as printing and mailing costs, meeting rooms, telephone services and website maintenance, as well as advancing our advocacy objectives. The work is done entirely by volunteers – we have no paid staff.
